We want you to feel confident and cared for when shopping at Leonardo’s Reef. That’s why we offer our Alive & Pest-Free Guarantee—to ensure your new coral arrives healthy and ready to thrive in your aquarium.

What We Promise

If something goes wrong, we’re here to help. We will gladly offer a replacement coral or store credit if:

  • Your coral doesn’t arrive.

  • Your coral arrives damaged or doesn’t survive within 24 hours of delivery.

  • The coral is carrying pests.

To Make a Claim

To help us take care of you as quickly and smoothly as possible, we kindly ask you to follow these steps:

  1. Be available for delivery: If possible, have someone home to receive the package so your coral doesn’t sit out for too long.

  2. Unpack promptly: Open the package as soon as it arrives to give your coral the best chance of settling in.

  3. Take photos: If there’s an issue, please take clear photos of the packaging and coral within 2 hours of delivery.

  4. Hold onto everything: We kindly ask that you do not throw away the coral or packaging until we’ve had a chance to review your claim. Disposing of them too soon may void the guarantee.

  5. Please don’t return the coral without our guidance: Sending it back without our approval could also void the guarantee.

Timing

The 24-hour guarantee window starts from the delivery time, not when the package is opened.

If We Can’t Replace the Same Coral

We’ll always do our best to provide the same or a similar coral. If that’s not possible, we’ll offer store credit for a future purchase.

A Few Gentle Reminders

  • We’re only able to offer store credit or replacements—not refunds—for livestock.

  • For discounted coral purchases, any replacement or credit will reflect the amount paid, not the full retail price.

  • If your package is delayed or lost by the courier, rest assured—you’re still fully covered by our guarantee.

If There’s an Issue with Payment

Should anything go wrong with your order, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us via email first. We kindly ask that you avoid initiating a chargeback before contacting us, as doing so may void the guarantee.
